Greater Panda and Lesser Panda...so neat seeing them together!:

Silkeej,   I hope things are better for you now.   I think most of us have some days or even weeks, when missing our hubbys is so on our minds.  It's been 16+ years since Charlie died and I still have dreams that he's a part of or is in.   It's even strange to me that every now and then I'll have a dream with my dad in it and he's been gone for over 52 years.  No clue why that happens.   I hope you are doing and feeling better.

I talked to my brother in St. Louis this afternoon and he said there was a big electrical storm last night, constant flashing and of course booming from the thunder.   He said we got 2 inches of rain and that it's been raining part of each day lately.   Boy I miss that.   There were thunderstorms in the Tampa area last evening and even after midnight I could see lightning in the clouds way east of here but couldn't hear the thunder.  I though we might get some rain, but not here.  It's kind of random or hit and miss showers.    I'll post a photo of one of the storm clouds in the area from the storms over Tampa Bay after this.

Take care and stay cool. Heart

Great shot of a drinking hummingbird!:

Snappy,   Good to hear that your visit to the doctor went well for you.  I know that's a lot of trips for the radiation but if it's a cure, it's well worth the time and distance.   If I lived close to you, I'd help with the rides to and from the treatments.

Many years ago, I drove one of our friends, who was once a patient at the institution my dad was superintendent of, and who was an orphan.   Though Joe was older than all of us kids, and was impaired, he was part of our family and spent all of his free time at our home.  He was self supporting by working at one of the hospitals in St. Louis.   He had colon cancer and had 35 radiation treatments and I drove him for 7 weeks everyday from north St. Louis County to south side of the city.  Thank goodness for the Interstate system.   I knid of know what you will be having as far as the daily commute but it will be well worth it.

It's been hit and miss thunderstorms here in the Tampa area,  Most of the storms start east of here and move toward the Gulf.  I hope your weather cools down a bit and that some rains will come and help put out those awful fires.    I hope you are well away from them.

I have a load of clothes to fold so I'll sign off for now.   Take care and be cool and safe. Heart

possummink, yes we are a long way from the fires unless there are new ones I don't know about. Don't have the TV on today. It's still 99 or so. Very low humidity.

It was good of you to drive Joe to his treatments. Glad he had your family as his own.

Thank you for your sincere offer to do the same for me if you were here.

The cancer society had volunteer drivers when hubby needed radiation, but they wouldn't cross over county lines, and we live in one and the facility is in another. So that didn't work out for us.

I have towels to fold also, and I'll make some dinner later so DD doesn't have to. It will take her a long time to finish the painting. It will brighten up her room and new paint is always so fresh and clean looking.

Hi Possummink:

Love this picture two of my most favorite little bears.....Heart Couldn't you just hug them?  I guess you are use to thunder and lightning. My DH was from New York and loved it when we would occasionally get a storm he said it put him to sleep. We don't have many here and so when we do its a big deal for some of us.Lol!!!

I have often said I really haven't felt my DH around but lately he has been on my mind so much. I feel like he is around for some reason.  Guess it will happen when you miss someone who has been so much a part of your life. I do feel much better today, thanks for asking how I am doing.Heart

My oldest Son who lives in Missouri mentiions the storms they have and tornado alerts sounds scary to me, guess its part of living there. He send me pictures and it is a beautiful place to live. The weather doesn't seem to bother them.

Hope you have a great weekend. It's hot where you are stay cool and safe.
