Hi Snappy:

So happy to see your post and have you in my nightly prayers. I know it can be frustrating waiting for test results but they want to cross all the t's and dot all the i's to be sure your Doctor receives an accurate report and then hopefully you can have the kitchen remodel you have talked about. The sooner you get started if you need it, the quicker they can get it managed. Heart

No big plans for the 4th. We plan to have a family picnic here on Monday and one day of this holiday weekend I want to get out to the cemetery and take my DH some flowers and visit. I sure miss him alot.  After being a couple for 58 years it is so hard to be just one. I sure wish he was still here.

Went to dinner with my Granddaughter tonight, one of her favorite places the Red Robin. I love their tarter sauce and their fish and chips are good. She always seems to know when I need her company and calls and says lets have dinner together tonight. Love her for knowing when I need someone to visit with.Heart

Wishing all of my friends here on the forum a very happy 4th of July. Stay cool some places are very warm, my Son in Missouri says it looks like a very wet holiday for them. We will have temps in the 70's and some sun. Glad June is over it was chilly and wet here hoping July is warmer.Heart

10grands, waiting is probably harder than knowing. But, I have no choice. I'm sure they know it's stressful for patients. Some tests take longer because they are doing a culture, but I don't know about mine. It seems like they MUST know next week. Thank you for your message to me. I know you care and am grateful.

possummink, your weather sounds sort of wild, but I guess it's par for the course there.

It's 90 here. Just turned on the AC to cool the house a bit.

I appreciate your concern for me, and of course I'll let everyone know when I hear anything.

Hope you have a nice Monday no matter what you do. Am sure you are looking forward to time with your DD and grands. Beachtime for sure. I spent a lot of time there as a teen. Now my face shows the damage the sun did. We had no idea of the danger other than knowing we didn't want to get burned because it hurt. There were no sunscreens. The lifeguards put Noxema on their noses.

DD#1 is coming tomorrow afternoon with a cherry pie for the 3 of us to enjoy together. Her hubby has band practice after church. He plays the trombone in 2 groups where they live. The orchestra and the Velvetones which is more jazzy.

Happy Independence Day to everyone....stay safe.

Hi Silkeej, I want the biopsy done right also. My nose is starting to heal where the doc cut out the piece to be tested. Glad I'm not as vain as I once was. Getting old has it's perks.

If I don't need radiation, I'm sure we will go ahead with some kitchen remodeling. It won't be a gut job in any case. Too expensive, but there are lots of things we can do.

But not if I am gone everyday. Don't trust strangers with my things.

Thank you for praying for me. You don't know how much that matters to this old lady.

Yes, we also had 58 years together. I was dusting pictures today. Fourteen years ago we had a family picture professionally done. Hubby was well and I can see the life in his eyes. I miss him too, but wouldn't want him back. He'd be 90 now and we would be coming up to our 64th anniversary in November. But we had m

ore time than most people and I'm grateful.

I love your GD! What a sweet, sensitive and kind girl she is. You are blessed, and she must love you and enjoy being with you. We used to go to the Red Robin often. Their rolls are wonderful! I could make a meal on them, but I almost always ordered salmon.

I hope your family has a nice picnic on Monday and that you do get to take the flowers since it makes you happy.

Happy Independence Day to you and all who read here.
