Hi Snappy and Friends, It's a sunny but blustery day here and cooler. The breezes have been gusty off and on but the sky is cloudless. I'm glad it's cooler again. The humidity was building before all the storms came through.
I hope that none of you were around the violent storms that roared through the southeast and further north, I saw that even some of the Amish in Lancaster, PA had some farm damage, buildings too.
My brother called last evening and said we'd had snow at home. He also told me that the snow crocuses were blooming. Mine are similar to those above, though some are striped and some deep purple. Guess it won't be too long before the snowdrops bloom. Love all those early Spring flowers, Love all flowers.

Hi Benzi, oh dear, a teenaged doggie! I know he is a great blessing to you.
Yes, DD#1 is going with me to the neurologist on March 10. And she is not afraid to ask questions until she understands things. And DD#2 is going to my PC doc on April 1st when I see him. She wants to hear what he says she should do if I do ever choke on food. She is concerned about that so it will be good. I'm really blessed to have them in my life.
What's the weather like where you are?
It's warm out here. I think in the low 80s today, but not sure. Comfortable.
Take care of yourself, and enjoy the day,

Hi Bobbisue, sorry you are having a hard day. Of course you miss your Buck, but he is with you. You think of him all the time. Maybe when it gets a little warmer your spirits will lift. I pray so. We all love you, and so does the Lord, only He loves you more than anyone else ever could. Take care of yourself, this too shall pass.

Hi possummink, got a bang out of the bird with the dragonfly sitting on his head!
So many things happen in nature that we never see, so this is where I get my education regarding such things.
The crocuses in your area in MO are beautiful. Goodness, I've never seen any in person.
Sorry you aren't there to see them, but you have been many times, no doubt.
We planted a few african daisies years ago and they have migrated to other places in our yard, and are blooming their heads off. We are happy that the palm trees and other plants in our side yard seem to be thriving.
I like flowers also, but not inside the house for some reason. Hubby used to bring them to me for every special day, and maybe that's why I don't want them now.
Hope you continue to stay well.

Many of us here have grandchildren. (I always say, "Grandchildren are GOD's reward for having children". Ha! I love my girls, but grandchildren are fun too.
Anyway, my daughter called me today, she said, "Mom, this will cheer you up". (I have to go tomorrow for 'infusion' treatment. I have immune deficiency.
Here's how it went: My grandson (3 1/2 goes to a little pre-school for a few hours a few times a week, just mainly to play). He has an older brother and 2 older sisters. He also has an amazing imagination (I love it). About 6 months ago he found a tiny square of material about the size of a small Kleenex and put it on his back and said it was his "Magic cape like Superman". It was fun and hardly noticeable.
My youngest daughter saw it on Facetime and decided to send him a REAL superman cape (full size). He's been growing into it to the point where he doesn't always trip on it. Ha! He now wants to wear it 24/7, even to the pre-school. My daughter finally gave in and let him wear it a few times.
Today she said she received an email from his 'teacher' saying, "The teachers and I have decided to ask that parents no longer send their children to school with the magic capes; as there has been arguments as to who owns the most magical cape. It ended in a physical disagreement. (These are little kids so it wasn't a big fight).
Then my daughter said the teacher hand wrote a note to her saying, "Billy has become the leader of the group. Everyone now wants a magic cape like Billy (even the girls). The problem ensued when each insisted his or her cape was more magical. The other parents are asking where they can get these magical capes. Please find a way to leave the cape home tomorrow as this cape is causing all sorts of problems. It is falling into the toilet when they go potty, it is getting wrapped around the climbing blocks, but mostly I refuse to say who's cape is more magical! (My daughter said there were smiley faces everywhere on the note).
I can just see all of these little kids running around with these capes! It must be really funny. He had me take his picture when I was over there recently.
But the funniest thing, I think, is that my daughter says he doesn't want to wear long pants. He wants to wear his underwear because Superheros don't wear long pants!
He is the cutest little blonde haired (haircut like John Kennedy's hair) flopping everywhere as he runs through the house looking for someone to save!
It's wonderful to know kids can still use their imaginations and have fun.
Between you and me.....I'm glad I'm not the one who has to tell him he can't wear his magic cape to school tomorrow! Ha!
I was lucky, I had 3 daughters who danced for 13 years. I only had to walk around with them wearing tutus everywhere!
I always think, "I wish my husband was here to enjoy this". Then I remember he's watching over us from Heaven.
