Hi Benzi, thank you for stopping by and for your always welcomed words of love and encouragement. I'll be glad to hear what the GI doc has to say on Monday. Glad DD#1 will be there. Hi Bookbabe, I appreciate your kindness and encouragement.

So glad the Elmo party was a success. Having kids around is so therapeutic.

In addition to what the men did at DD's wedding, she took my wedding dress to my sister who is a seamstress. The dress was way too old and worn to be useful, but sis took the good parts and made a gorgeous pillow for the ring bearer to carry. My dress had pearl buttons all the way down the front, so she used them to make flowers in the corners of the pillow and then made a large flower with wire in it for the center. It's a treasure. She also made long stemmed "roses"  that DD and her groom handed out to each member of the family with a romance card explaining that it was from my dress and the date of our wedding. I keep mine on hubby's night stand beside his picture.

Snappy  - Your DD's wedding sounds so nice, I know you were proud.   What a great idea for your Wedding Dress. 

I am so glad your daughter will be able to go to the Dr.'s office with you, definitely better to have 2 sets of ears.  It shows what a caring Mother you are to have such caring adults who are always there for you.

My 2 DD's visited yesterday, each one with a Grandchild, a 2 and 3 year old with lots of energy.  I have lots of toys here for the little ones and they always have fun.  But, I have to admit my 2 little dogs and took a nap after they were gone.

Hi Snappy and Friends,,   The photo above is one of the Tampa skyline.  It's really a beautiful city and growing,  clean with a lot of things to do in the area.   

It was about 75 here today,  a beautiful beach day, with almost no humidity and nice gentle breezes.  Had the living room door open onto the screened patio all day and into the evening.   I saw the moon a bit after moonrise and it was just gorgeous.   Not sure if this the full moon of February, which is the Snow Moon.  

The pillow your daughter made out of your wedding dress sounds just beautiful and has so much meaning to your family.  What a treasure for generations to come.
