Good morning PHLUPHY. My iPad and laptop are receiving the emails, however whenever I go to send my reply the messages get stuck in the outbox file. I'm going NUTS! My provider is useless . I've asked my tech friend to stop by on Sunday to see if he can troubleshoot it for me. I'm praying he can. SNAPPY, I pray that the fires aren't near you. I WISH you would get rain.

Mike and i got married one month after i graduated  from high school ,in1970, he was in the air force at that time,in 1971 our first son shane was born, in december of that year ,mike got orders to england, it was tough being so young, never being that far from home, which was indiana, it took a few years to get used to it, but in time i grew to really like it there, we were there for over 4 years.

Hi phluphy, thank you for your concern for our safety. We are not in the fire areas. Mostly they occur in wooded areas which are so terribly dry, but one did reach the border of our city about 3 or so years ago. They made a stand and beat it. If it had swept down on us, it would have gone for miles and miles taking one city after another, so we were really thankful, as always, for those who put themselves in harms way for us. It is hot and very dry. Lawns are turning brown. But DD and I are so far staying under the limited units of water. Hope and pray we get rain. Also hope you continue to feel better.

Fran, I hope your tech friend can help with your problem. Sounds frustrating. I appreciate your concern for us. The fires are not where we live, but it is terribly dry everywhere and hot. We desperately need rain, so we continue to pray for it. What's th weather like where you are? Hope you have a safe happy weekend,

goldens, thank you for telling us about your early days. You married young as did I. I was 17 when hubby and I met, and he was 25. We married a year later, but didn't have to go to another country. I'm sure you are glad you had that adventure, and am happy you learned to enjoy England. Most of my ancestors came from there as far as I know. And Scotland and Germany. In other words, Europe.

I'm really concerned about MamaS and the others who haven't been here since things were changed. Hope they try to post and are successful.
