Hi Snappy and Friends,   A great football weekend,  My Patriots and Packers won their games.  The games have kept me up kind of past my bedtime, but they were good games.   The Dallas and Packer game was a nail biter.  Excellent game.

I've been watching the weather at home a lot too due to the heavy ice storm that was predicted.  The grocery stores closed early Friday afternoon along with the malls, theaters, most businesses, my daughter's office, ( they did see a few patients, but most couldn't have made it due to the hazardous road conditions.   Quite a few power lines went down, but luckily the ones for our homes didn't.  

Snappy,  I hope your daughter gets over that cold or infections she has.  It seems like the colds are hanging on longer.   My brother had to take antibiotics for what turned into a chest cold.  He says he's feeling better. My DD went over to the house yesterday, between ice storms and checked on him, fed the cats and birds,  got the mail etc.   She checked on him too and took him some White Castle hamburgers.  He loves those.  

I see where the Chargers are leaving the San Diego area and moving to LA to play where the Rams play.   That seems so silly to me, but I guess they have good reasons.   I don't think it's fair to San Diego and their fans, but it happened to us in St. Louis.   

It's been warm here for the most part, in the 70ies and maybe 80  on Tuesday but by the weekend maybe the low 70ies or even in the 60ies I hope,   Need rain here.   I saw that the drought is maybe over for parts of California,  I sure hope so.  I know it's been really bad for everyone concerned.  

10grands,  It looked like you all might have had some of that terrible ice storm come your way and or snow.   I hope your area is spared the heavy icing and that you don't lose power.
