Thank you, Possumink.  And I went through your thread and enjoyed seeing all your lovely pictures.

 

I'm not a widow, but I prayed for each one of you as I went through some of the posts.  I can't imagine your pain... but I do know one widow *my own mother*.  She always says you never "get over it" but you have to "get ON with it".

ozzbee, thank you for your well wishes. I hope you never have need of this thread.

We would probably all agree with your mom. For me, it's learning to adjust to a new reality. Life is still good, but it's not the same. I don't like change and this is major change.

Hubby went Home in 2010. A long time, but seems like yesterday. I have family close by and that makes a huge difference to me.
