Our golden has his own cat. If they had been babies together, this is what they would've looked like.:

Hi possummink, glad you have your furnace in good working order. Sounds like you will need it. Having a switch inside is terrific.

Take care moving those plants inside. Wish you had help with that job. The heavy lifting.

It's in the low 70s today, overcast again. Love that I could wear long sleeves. Went out to get the pumpkin and evaporated milk I need for pies. As long as I push a cart, I feel stable and can walk through the store for a little while.

We have a new law that we either take bags to the store or pay for each one of theirs.

We've been doing that for years now, so we were prepared.

The thing with this is that lots of the cloth bags, especially the ones with thermal lining, can't be laundered. I clean ours out with Clorox wipes, and the canvas ones can be washed, but I hope people don't start getting sick from dirty bags.

Stores also have disinfectant wipes for us to use to clean the cart's handle and anything else..like the seat where some baby sat....oh, my.

Hi Snappy and Friends,   Yea!!!   Today my brothers went over to the other house and cleaned the roof off and cut a bunch of unwanted bushes and trees down and used my tractor to drag them down the hill to the creek.  I had thought about hiring a yard service to do it, but never mentioned it to them.  After that our younger brother came over to our house and both of them  helped me get all the bananas dug, leaves removed, bagged and we put them into the front loader on the Kabota tractor and we hauled them to the house.  Most of them are sitting outside the basement door and a couple are at the top of the outside steps leading to down in the basement.  I still have the amaryllises, some to dig out and the potted ones, all have to go down into the basement too.   I am so glad they decided to help with those plants.   I don't know if I could have done it.   This darn fall has really taken a toll and I didn't even hit my head that hard.  I just think the landing on my rump jolted the heck out of everything inside.   The bruise on my right rump was huge and very dark blue.  I don't know if it's totally gone yet.  I checked it out at the dermatologist's office a few days after the fall.

It's a big relief to have the bananas taken care of and tomorrow I'll dig the amaryllises out and get them down into the basement too.   Then I can concentrate on getting all the houseplant inside on Friday and if needed Saturday.

I have a lot of reusable bags that I take to the store.   I love the ones that I can get in Florida from Publix.  They reusable bags are nice and have nice seasonal designs.  We don't have to pay to use store bags though, paper or plastic.   We reuse the paper ones for the wastebaskets until they are not 'nice' any more.    I wonder how people who aren't prepared like  you like having to pay for something to take what the buy from those stores, home.  That's not very nice of the stores.  I use the plastic bags for the kitty litter box when I clean it for Mattie.  It's not that we use things once and toss them.

I do like the fact that the stores provide those disinfectant wipes too.  Never know who or what used the carts before we get them.  Have to be so careful anymore.   It sure wasn't like that when I was growing up.  Maybe that's helped our immune systems.

Have a nice Thursday, Everyone and stay safe. Heart
