Dear HiLo, I didn't get here yesterday, so I'm especially happy to see you.

Bless the dear ladies for remembering me. No word yet from the radiologist.

DD called, but got their answering machine. Will try again after she gets back from

doing some shopping.

Oh so happy to find a fellow night owl. I also go to bed around 1 in the morning. I do go right to sleep on my right side and wake up always on my back. Got up at 6 something to use the loo and then slept until after 10. Nobody cares when I get up, so I hope my appointments can be around 1 in the afternoon.

Will need drivers from my son's family. Don't like the idea of asking, but just have to.

We have aged well...and have had long lives. Sorry you are having serious vision problems. Really hope you get a good diagnosis and course of treatment or intervention.

Also it's hard to have IBS or something like it.

I send things to charity also. We usually give to the Vets in honor of hubby or the cancer society. I have multiples of tops I really like. Comfort is where it is.

It is hard to be dependent on others especially those who are at a distance. I'm grateful my PC doc and eye doc are within 6 miles from here at the other end of town.

Yesterday when the parking lot was mostly empty, DD took me to the bank to use the ATM.

I'll be 84 when I have to renew my license. We will see how that goes in less than 2 years if I'm here that long.

I'll be back when I know something about the schedule. Thank you for being a good friend.

Hi possummink, oh that rain looks just amazing. We need it so badly, but there's a risk of flooding here too becuse the earth is so hard and dry it can't absorb much.

Different coasts, different problems. DD went out and I had her put the AC on first.

No word yet from the radiologist. She called them, but got a recording. Will try when she gets home.

I'm so into the Olympics also. DD and I tried to figure out something about Rugby, but it makes no sense and they don't wear any protective gear. It just seems chaotic and not really interesting except as a curiosity.

Love the swimming and gymnastics. Our people are doing well, which always makes it more fun.

Enjoy your day.

Hi friends,

Got the call from the radiologist's office. Tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 our time, I go for a trial run to make sure everything is in good order. If so, my first treatment will be on Wednesday. DD#2 can take me until the 25th when she has to be back at work.

I sent an email to DS and his family telling them and asking if any of them can help me.

By that time, there will only be 18 treatments to go, so nobody will need to drive often.

But they are at a distance from me and it takes lots of drive time.

Thank you for praying for me,
