Osprey couple on the Landings nest. Female on L, Male on R.:

Hi Snappy and Friends,   Hope you are having a nice weekend.  Today was my daughter in law's birthday and we had a fun time celebrating it.  My daughter and I took her out for some time away from household chores while my 2 granddaughters were shopping at the mall.

My son fixed one of her favorite meals, a pasta dish with a creamy, sweet pepper sauce and shrimp and sauteed  scallops mixed in.  It was delicious.   It's one of my daughter's favorite meals and my son is the only one in our family who has ever made it.   It takes him a couple of hours to prepare it  but it's well worth the wait.

We are leaving for Miami Beach tomorrow and will be back late next week.  I'll try to get here each day for a bit.  Enjoy your Sunday and keep safe and well. Heart

The two birds in the above photo are Ospreys that I watch via nest cam streaming.  We're hoping they'll have some young ones but so far no eggs.  This it the same nest where earlier this spring and for the past 3 years a pair of Great Horned Owls raised their owlets and the owlets fledged at the early part of May.  The nest is near Savannah, GA.  I am also watching a nest of Ospreys in Maine,  Right now there are 3 little Ospreys that are growing up fast.  Their parents , Rachel and Steve are very good providers for these babies. Heart  Steve has brought as many as 16 fish to the nest in just one day.  He averages about 13 fish a day.
