Hi possummink, thanks for the beauty. Love those gorgeous birds. They must like cold weather since we don't see birds like that here. When we fed the wild ones, we did get some blue jays. I remember them from when we camped at Yosemite. They were so brazen. Just swooped down on the table while we were eating and made us think they would snatch the food! Noisy critters also, but pretty.

My GD texted me yesterday asking when we get home from church. They want to stop by and visit with us. I think she wants me to see her ring and maybe talk about the wedding, etc. Sweet of her. Got a bit more rain last night, but today it's mostly sunny and humid.

Wishing well to all our friends here.

Calf and barn cat:

Hi Snappy,   I am so glad you finally got some rain.   I hope it continues but at a gentler pace.   I saw the rescue of a man and his dog on Fox News and the water looked like a raging river.

I bet the newly engaged little lady does want to show you her ring.  How happy they must be,  planning a new life together.  When Charlie and I got married,  it happened rather quickly as both of us being teachers,  we wouldn't have a break until Christmas and I didn't want a Winter wedding.  Our first date was April 15th,  we were engaged on  May 5th and married on August 5th.  Charlie was 8 years older than me, and had been in the Air Force for 4 years and was now a 7th grade teacher in the same school district where I was teaching 3rd grade.  Different schools though.  We were both taking courses from Missouri University and that's where we met.   Our marriage lasted for almost 39 years, till God called him Home.

My kids took things a lot slower wedding wise than we did.  I wouldn't advise people to act so quickly as we did.  He said he knew the first time he saw me that I'd be his wife.   I don't understand how that works, but it sounded good.   I wasn't that quick with my decision.  Cat Happy

Have a lovely rest of your evening.   Hi Everyone,  Stay cool and be safe
