I don't use it at all..I have a long time friend who I speak to on the phone. He contacted my kid( a grown person) to be a  "friend." My kid did and then told me..I told my kid to delete the "friend"..They are just being nosey about family things..and pics.

Once they are 'unfriended" can they still see anything in my kid's acct.? Does my kid have to give a reason?..I'm sure this person will tell me my kid "unfriened" him. I need to have a reason ready..My kid said to play stew-pid.

I feel like a teenager who has to sneak around so one "friend" won't find out about the "other"..LOL I thought I was too old for this carp!!

Maybe something like "Hmm, ok. That's not my business but I wouldn't take it personally. So how's the weather/got any plans coming up/have you seen the new Downton movie yet?"

If he brings it up again, just keep it light and repeat that it's not your business then change the subject again.

Or, "I don't use Facebook and have no idea how any of that works!"

I joined Facebbk onlly to connect with relatives that live out of town. I browse sometimes on stories they post. A few months they stopped fact checking what they print. I realized most of it is fake news.  They have no restrictions on what people can post and some of the post are downright vulgar. They had pictures of the first lady and some of the things people wrote were nasty. I am done with facebook and only look at ads and send messages to my family members. Facebook is nothing like it use to be.
