Among Friends

When I've gone through difficult times with troubles or sorrows, I've  found the best thing is to get back k to work and get my mind on something else.  My work has been my salvation.

I also hope she takes the time she needs to grieve and not try to rush through it.  Perhaps her clergy or fellow church members will provide a shoulder to cry on if she needs one, it's not healthy to hold back from crying. It's a great release when a person has a good cry.

Everyone grieves at their own pace and in their own way.  My heart and prayers go out to her.

All you posters here have given her much love and compassion, I hope she reads this thread and gets some measure of comfort.

"It is so hard for me to believe that last July 4th Gino and I were in New York with our very dear friends. I could never have imagined that it would be the last time we would all be together. I had doubts about spending time in New York this week. But I’m glad I’m here. I have wonderful friends here. Friends who let me cry for as long as I need to. In all honestly, I’m not doing very well. But, I know it will get better. For God promised to bend His ear to us, especially in times of grief. And, I’m so thankful to you. She also posted a photo of her friends. I think that she sounds pretty good, considering.
