You’re entitled to voice your opinion.  They obviously put it out there for others to see/comment.  Maybe, because of your words, the person will be more thoughtful about what they post - how it may hurt others.  But then again, they may not care.  You did your best.

It's really none of your business & I would simply delete your comment BUT you're free to post your opinion about the photo on your FB. I deleted my FB account a long time ago & don't miss it at all.

Maybe your relative wasn't as upset as you are if they didn't say anything. One person's degrading is another's no big deal.
