I sometimes enjoy reading them, but don't love them on my car, which still looks newer.

However, I decided to go ahead and put some magnets on anyway, because I thought it could save someone's life.  One reads, "heartburn can cause cancer," and the other is an awareness ribbon magnet that says, "esophageal cancer" on it. 

I don't feel particularly comfortable having them on my car, because the ribbon one left residue on my vehicle when it got too hot.  But I figure I can take that one off during the hottest months and leave it on the rest of the year.  If it winds up messing up my paint, I won't be happy.  However, I wish I had known that heartburn could kill a person before my dad got sick.  I keep that in mind whenever I weigh whether or not I want to keep them on the car.  My car matters to me, but if the message the magnet conveys could save someone's life, I think I should not worry about the paint so much.

Last year, I had a circular sticker in my back window that read: VOTE in red, white and blue.

I got so tired of young people making comments about anthing political, and then when I asked them if they voted, I would hear a litany of excuses. 

Our older son suggested I remove it.  He said the type of car I drive made my sticker a little too obvious.

There is so much anger on the road these days over the slightest thing, and then the vandalism to vehicles.

DH got a "Wall Drug" bumper sticker some time ago.  He was actually saving it for a new vehicle, but since that hasn't happened yet, he put it on his 90 YO mom's Corolla.  After getting her permission, of course!.
