When do you plan to decorate for Christmas
now that Halloween is over?
When I was out to the store this morning,
I saw one house decorated.

No plans to decorate except for my nativity set which I will set up the day after Thanksgiving.

My house is decorated for harvest for October & November. My Halloween items are a lighted Jack-o-lantern in my front window (already put away) and a large candy bowl for trick or treaters. It's still sitting out with left over candy in it.
After Thanksgiving I will put away my harvest decorations and put up Christmas decorations & leave them up through Epiphany.
I was out running errands this morning, and I didn't see any Christmas decorations on houses yet. Plenty in stores though.

Thursday the 23rd - enjoy Thanksgiving
Friday the 24th - take down Fall decor, clean house
Saturday the 25th - put up Christmas

I wait a little bit. Probably the 9th or 10th of December. Leave it up till after Epiphany. I may put a wreath on our door the first weekend in December to get started.

If the interior painting of my house and carpet is layed I'll decorate ThanksGiving week, just a little in honor of my dear sister, she loved Christmas, I'm positive I'll cry through it.

@Alsace Gal, I hope the painting and carpet installation are completed for you to decorate the week of Thanksgiving. Your sister will be watching over you and will want you to be happy.

I will start next week.
We will be away over Thanksgiving and I like the house decorated on the inside for when we get home.
The outside will get done the first week of December.

During CIL, I purchased a 3ft flocked tree, I thought she would like it.
My dear sister loved our blue tree which we decorated for 4 years, we eventually sold it.
I saw a 5ft pink tree (her favorite color) and ordered it. I'll put both trees up, the pink on the living room and the 3ft in the kitchen or her bedroom where I now sleep.
