Re: Whats your daily routine?

Now retired, I am an early riser. I get up about 3AM.  I love my mornings! I get a lot done. This morning I was raking leaves in my back yard as soon as it was light enough to see,,,,about 7AM.

Lots of fresh hot coffee! Watch the news, read the paper. Go on a long dog walk.

My days are  spent just doing whatever I want to!   If I do not do it today...I can do it tomorrow.

Re: Whats your daily routine?

I start off with my computer and at least three cups of coffee. The time change has turned me into a very early riser.I will leave for the gym around nine to take Pilates or hit classes....most favourite part of the day.I end the day with the tv on the ID channel...just me and my soft and fuzzy blanket on the couch.I usually watch for a couple of hours with my eyes closed and my mouth open. There are various fillers throughout the day that get me to this point but you didn’t ask about those.

Re: Whats your daily routine?

Fun and interesting topic!   DH and I are both retired but adhere to a routine each and every day.  Our 31 yr. old son is handicapped so we are up at 5:30 to get Jeff up and ready to go to his Dayhab program.  The bus picks him up at 7:00 a.m., then DH and I go out for our daily coffee and breakfast.   It's our guilty pleasure!  If we need to grocery shop, we do that and then the rest of the day we go our separate ways and do our own thing.  I hit the gym 3 days a week and other days, I meet a friend for shopping/lunch or do my cleaning/cooking, etc.  Jeff comes home at around 4:00 p.m., so we take care of him, eat dinner, showers and then bed by 10:30.  Repeat routine the next day!   It works for us and as long as we are all healthy, I am very grateful to God!
