If you wait for it to be under 100 on the 4th of July you will never go and see the fireworks. It's never ever under 100 on the 4th. It can still be 100 at midnight. If you live on the west side you can drive over to Peoria (83rd and Bell) and sit in your car in one of the restaurant parking lots with the ac blowing and watch them.

It's still hot and humid in up state SC.  Was in 90's yesterday.  Had rain last night and the ground is saturated.  I am thankful for the rain since it means less chance of fires around here.  Sounded like some neighbors were setting off bombs last night.

 

Happy 4th to all.  We are so fortunate and blessed to live in the US.
