It seems to me that each Walmart store somewhat caters to the community. I love the Walmarts in the more rural towns of Alabama, but the big city Walmart, not so much.
Buy it when you see it because the good stuff gets gone in a heartbeat.

@Sweet_Serenity Glad to hear it, wish all Walmarts were like yours!
I have pretty much given up shopping at any of the Walmarts near us, we can never find any staff in the store and the checkout lines are long and slow, clothing is almost non-existent unless you are a XS-L and they tend to be too youthful for women my age, I really liked their Savings Catcher program until they changed it and now I cannot even remember the last time I saved money as they never compare their prices to any of the stores around them, and they are often not stocked appropriately, so we have to run to another store anyway,
I do shop Walmart.com with their free shipping of purchases of $35.00 or more, I love free shipping!

I am a Walmart shopper too. Hubby goes after his yogurt, and soy milk and I tell him ... MEET ME IN THE CLOTHES.
I get all kinds of compliments on what I find and wear. I have a good time telling those who say something nice to me THAT I GOT IT IN WALMART.

Every time I go to Walmart I get approached iin the parking lot for hand outs. It's almost always "we ran out of gas" scam. Well, why not pull into a gas station instead of a Walmart parking lot? I'm sick of it.

Same with mine in the city. There's one guy that looks very able bodied with his hand out and generally only approaches women. That's a red flag for me. (easy target) I read him the riot act one day when he came up behind me and he turns & goes the other way when he sees me. Report them to security. They are tresspassing.

@software I feel the same way that they think women are easy targets for this scam. Once, with my husband, they approached me in ear shot of him. (He was probably out smoking by the truck while I checked out as he can't smoke while I'm driving with him) he just called me one tough Cookie after he heard. They didn't ask him & I saw them pass him, then to me, they said they pulled into the parking lot on fumes. I went into on how irresponsible not to read their gauges & they drove a block in from the main road, turn into this parking lot and pointed out gas signs that were close! Ha
