deluxe pedi which includes the soak in scented water, matching scented exfoliating scrub/massage of feet and legs, lotion massage and hot rock oil massage. Followed by hot towels. Plus all the usual grooming and regular polish. $42 I tip $10 because the service is consistently great.
Gel or acrylic nails fill in costs $40.
I've had my gels removed and am trying to get my natural nails healthy. Sigh. Right now they are sad, damaged little nubs. Will save me money.

I have a licensed nail tech come to my home! She goes all over, mainly shut ins, people that don't have access to quality salons without traveling. She travels here, gives a mani-pedi, hot rock massage. She uses my organic products. And I use Deborah Lippman products she has. She is here an hour and I adore her. . I pay 70 bucks plus tip. I get regular mani pedi. But she has done gel, or some new stuff they have out now...., better than acrylic. to repair broken toe nail... I think it was 5 bux extra, that's it.

I just get the basic pedi (polish, not gel) and spend $35 which includes tip.

were your manicure and pedicure regular ones? is the salon a good one? how long did the total experience last?
i usually do a gel manicure and a sugar scrub pedicure and it is slightly higher than what you paid.
my mom gets a mobile manicure and pedicure ( the nail technicial comes to her home).....regular and we provide all the supplies. she pays $120.

Yes but if you go in for just a basic mani it's 35. Just a basic pedi is 45. So doing a combo saves money but not everyone does that.

@Luvsmyfam - I get a basic pedicure every 6 weeks or so and pay $37. I do my own nails, but once in a while I will splurge and get them to do it. I've never had artificial nails and I've had a gel manicure once. When I include the regular manicure I pay $45.
I know that's a special price for both. A basic manicure by itself is $18.

You must be getting more than a basic manicure. I go every two weeks and for the last several years I have been getting a basic manicure which costs $23.00.
Before that I used to get wraps, then powder & glue years ago. I never decided to get gel nails which is a bit more in price but I didn't want to soak my fingers in nail polish remover.
As for the pedi, I personally can't stand having the bottoms of my feet touched so she only trims my nails and gives me a polish change which I had done yesterday.
Altogether is cost me $45.00 and it looks great! I tip another 20%.

For a basic pedicure I pay 35.00. Price graduates up if you do special treatments. They always sound so nice and maybe at Christmas time I will treat myself to one but basic works for me and still very nice.
I don't do my nails and do those myself but they start out at 35.00 as well.
Is this heaven? No, it's Iowa.
