I've been on hold for 35 minutes so far, waiting to speak to a scheduler. It's crazy. Last week, I was on hold for 40 minutes. .At 4:20 someone told me I.should call back tomorrow because the office closes at 4:30. Okay..... I can't schedule it myself through My Chart because mine has to be done in a hospital setting. I assume because of my Afub.

When I had my colonoscopy I had to go to see a gastroenterologist first. I made the appointment at bis office that same day. I have never heard of scheduling a colonoscopy by telephone.

It's a routine screening colonoscopy. My pcp did the referral.. My Cardiologist cleared me for it. My pcp said there would be a link in My Chart where I could schedule but no link due to the need for a hospital setting. The canned music stopped so I think I was disconnected.  I'll try again tomorrow.

@chrystaltree    Call the hospital administrator's office and complain.  They might not know that this is a problem.  Sounds like something is wrong somewhere.

Why are there so many spaces after your posts, @chrystaltree? You have to scroll so far to get to the next post.

I had a tooth that broke 2 weeks ago.

My regular dentist got me right in & puttled out half of it, but told me the oral surgeon would have to pull the other half & get it ready for an implant or wharever I decided to have in that spot.

They gave me the number for an oral surgeon they refer people to. I called the number. The person that does the scheduling will have to call you back. Probably by next week.

I waited 3 days & then called a different oral surgeon. 

I never heard from the first doctor.

Yeah.... I'm not going to do that. I'll email my pcp for help if I don't get it scheduled tomorrow.

I just saw that. I honestly don't know why that happens to some of my posts. It's bizarre. Sometimes I can edit fix it.  Sometimes I can't.
