My dear mom would have been 94 yrs old today 11/16. Covid took her away from us in April of 2020 just as the virus had really started to get a grip on the nation. She was in a nursing home. As a RN for 50 yrs, she was my inspiraton for also becoming a nurse. The mom of 10 children was dedicated to her family and left her legacy so I just want to thank you mom as you continue to watch over us and know that we love you and miss you still ! I hope my post didn't take up to much of anyone's time, I just needed to thank my mom one more time today

Hi, @Goodie2shoes ! @Franklinbell was right, yours was a beautiful post and a tribute to your beloved Mother. A real reminder to stay connected to those we love especially in this life. I'm hosting a friend tomorrow that I haven't seen since 2018. She and I worked together at WW when I lived on the Big Island. I'm so beyond excited, almost like a kid at Christmas. I'm sure it'll be like we were never separated.

@Goodie2shoes Oh my goodness! Please don't feel like you need to apologize for taking up anyone's time when sharing such a beautiful and loving remembrance of your mom.
My own mom (of 9 children!) passed in 2015 and I carry her in my heart and my thoughts every day. I know from previous threads that there seem to be many on these boards who did not have the best relationships with their moms and so I consider myself very fortunate to have had a mom who is missed and loved forever.
I'm sure that expressing your love to your mom on her day was just like giving her a hug! Sharing those thoughts with us was a gift.

@Goodie2shoes - I usually read all of the posts before I post, but what a beautiful tribute to your mom! Thank you for "introducing" all of us to her.
I'm sorry you lost her to COVID. So many of us lost family and friends to that virus.
I believe we all think about the legacy we will leave behind. Your mom left a legacy of love, one that will not be forgotten. (((HUGS)))
