Re: The WORST holiday season QVC has had yet!

I agree this is the worst holiday season on QVC.  I have had an account with QVC going back to CVN!  That is a very long time.  I always enjoyed the products and bought a great many things over time.  This year, listening to those young girls trying to market goods is horrible!  They don't even know what they are talking about.

I am so sick of QVC peddleing every cosmetic out there!  Every day and night they are on with cosmetics.  I guess things are getting just so bad they should just file for bankruptcy and get it overwith.

@PhillyGirl23  Ca ching!    Their lack of new merchandise has saved me lots of money so there is that bonus if I do say so myself.

SOOOOOOOO boring and repetitious!

@PhillyGirl23    Why are you griping???  Can you not change the TV channel????   How old are you????

@KatieB

Thank you.

Some people act like this is an entertainment network, not a shopping channel.

@Tinkrbl44    It IS AN ENTERTAINMENT NETWORK.  Haven't you watched lately?  There's more emphasis on entertainment than sales.  Just turn QVC on any evening and watch the clowns perform.

I agree with @PhillyGirl23 , although it pains me to admit it, this is the worst, more deadly boring Christmas season ever.  It's amazing for an organization to have so many highly paid executives and this was the best they could produce.

Just look at today's TSV as an example.  One of the last prime Christmas shopping days and the best they could do was gunk to get rid of eye bags and puffy face.  Need a gift to thoroughly insult someone?  No way should this be a gift item period.  Another wasted opportunity.

@Kachina624  Man you hit it on the nose with the Clowns on in the evening.  Ibet  many are like me that if you don't watch , you don't buy. As long as JT is on most nights, I am not watching, which means I am not buying.  I think I have spent less this year here then any year.  Sad

Re: The WORST holiday season QVC has had yet!

Well, for my family & close friends, I’ve not purchased anything from QVC as they all like very specific gifts or GCs not sold at QVC. but for neighbors, nail tech & others I got some nice merchandise: digital candle lighters ( go over big) with a candle, philosophy ( good deals on large sizes), cute PJs & sketcher slippers, the wax ball amaryllis bulb ( people love these every year), two very good quality dog coats ( two recipient owners sent me pics & the dogs like them & so do owners) & two Comfys with cabin socks which are very popular in N NJ. I also purchased the Christmas figures with candy from Russell Stover & the Germack nut mix.

We are leaving for a Christmas River cruise next week so I’m early giving out gifts & everyone seemed very happy especially the dogs & their owners. I’m very satisfied. I was getting nervous about the Russell Stover purchase but it arrived today, wrapped & given out.

I live in NJ & have been to the malls & there is nothing too appealing out there either & I think QVC actually had more variety. I purchased from Nordstrom & it was a pricey item which is for my niece. It came in dreadful condition & not only that, it wasn’t in original packing & I paid full price. The tag on the item I received was less than half price. This was not the Nordstrom of the past! Not only that, when I called CS, no apology & they did do the refund & exchange & when I asked for it to be mailed in a box not a bag, I was told no. Btw, it was Barefoot Dreams direct from Malibu

Re: The WORST holiday season QVC has had yet!

This thread is from December 2022.

Wouldn't it be better to start a new one, rather than dredge up complaints about last year?  Just to keep it current?

@maggie100 - Since this is your first post, maybe you don't know how to start a new thread?  Anyone on here would be happy to help.

Re: The WORST holiday season QVC has had yet!

Only twelve QVC purchases this year for me. Three were food products. Two were gifts. As for their offerings, the TSV's have been awful. There was a time when I snapped up a lot of TSV's and OTO's.

Re: The WORST holiday season QVC has had yet!

I am so bored with Q. The products are stale. The same dozen products - or variations of - are shown week after week after week. I can't watch the antics and childish behavior. I have no desire to hear personal stories and silly chit chat.

I'd think the hosts would find it embarrassing to work some of the time.

I know I can't watch much before losing brain cells.
