When Christmas comes around I am looking for and would like to buy some things that are different and special.  In years past, Joan Rivers would sell sparkly scarves, holiday pins, her collectible ornaments, satin pants and so on.  Bob Mackie usually had lovely caftans and velour robes and holiday sweaters.  Dennis basso always had some nice coats and tops.  There were pretty nightgowns sold of which I saw none this year.   Louis Del Olio sold holiday items that were embroidered in addition to his jewelry.   Luminara candle kits were noticeably missing this year, and Valerie's home decor offerings were sparse.  I did not see many Jim Shore items either.

I guess what I am saying is that the jogging and lounge suits, slippers, pj's and socks have been selling non-stop since September and I would have loved to see more special items offered. Some of the Today's Special Values and items they claim would be great gifts are pretty lame.  Come on - poo pouri, toenail clippers, electric toothbrushes and compression socks?  I will be happy to take a look next year, but this year, I bought zero gifts from the Q.

I could not have said it better, bravo! Yesss!

Thank you.

Some people act like this is an entertainment network, not a shopping channel.

@Tinkrbl44  It appears QVC is encouraging the hosts to entertain more than in the past. Some like it and some do not IMHO.

you know---I haven't watched much QVC or other channels---just not interested in the repetative garbage they constantly show or the multitudes of pj's they think we all need. Not to mention the ridiculous behavior  of many of the hosts and by golly--I haven't missed it at all.

Re: The WORST holiday season QVC has had yet!

I thought it was me and my shopping tastes just changing as I have bought far less from HSN or QVC this holiday season, compared to years past.  They really seem to present an over-abundance of pajamas and lounge wear, and I find far better deals at my local Costco.  I really could care less about shoes/boots and it seems more and more lately, when they show skin care before and afters, I don't see any difference at all!  The prices of food items boggles my mind, and my electronic devices are all charged up.  I guess it's itme to catch up on Netflix!  Woman Wink

Totally agree. I miss the beautiful jewelry shows like Honora pearls. Also beautiful accessories, shoes and such. Not interested in seeing any more pjs!!!

In the 12 years I've been a QVC shopper, the holiday offerings have remained the same type of products.

@Kachina624

When I saw the home page and those scary eyes glaring out ( the ad for the wrinkle gunk !!!) I got frightened and turned off QVC for the day....

"Wrinkle gunk"...LOVE.IT!!!!!!!

I HATE those close ups of eyes, lips, wrinkles, arm sags, etc that are repeated endlessly for these shows.....!!! Like ANY cream is going to undo a lifetime of wrinkles and sags...come on now people....!!!!

I agree this Christmas' offerings were BOW-RING to the nth degree!!!

The ITKWD show this week on Wednesday was totally uninspired...David looked bored to death when the spurtle woman was doing her demo ( looked like he was thinking what do I have to pick up at the store on the way home!!!).....so much plastic ******...silicone mats, plastic cups, spurtles, Sheesh!!!!

O well....it's almost over for this year.

We'll only have to wait til Easter Sunday of 2023 for Christmas in July to begin again....O joy!

@Othereeeen  You are so right!  I shudder to think of what the annual report will reveal.
