Re: The Kindness Of Strangers

Just when I think the world is full of inconsiderate people something happens to show me that I am wrong.Recently I broke my foot so I was hobbling anywhere I went for awhile.I can't tell you how many times I was offered assistance by young and old...kind of a needed learning experience for me to stop being so skeptical.

Any thread here on the board about Walmart always brings a bunch of snarky remarks about the store, it's policies and its customers.

For years now, I've done most of my grocery shopping there as it's very close.  I have mobility issues and always use an electric cart.   I couldn't tell you how many times someone has offered to reach something on a top shelf for me, has offered to load my things on the conveyor or have their kids do it, help me unload the bags into the car or lift something unusually heavy.  "The People of Walmart" are extremely kind and helpful.  I can't say I've had that happen in any other store.

@Kachina624,That's how our Walmart is here.  They genuinely like people.Smiley Happy
