Re: The Bee Hive -- September 2024 Edition

I have so much to do and I’m not feeling any of it today. And I have trash that needs to go out and the can is already stuffed full. And it’s a late trash pickup week due to holiday. 🫤

And, and, and….😅

And I haven’t even made the bed today. 😐

Since I work most holidays, I'm always torn.  When I do get one off, should I just relax and enjoy it?

Actually own that one.  Always worth a watch.  Great cast.

I'm not quite sure what it has to do with Labor Day; it always seems to air on a holiday related to the military.

I watch it every time I can.  It's one of those that I always find different things in it that I've missed previously.

lol, I'm the same way!  No matter how many times I've watched the Sopranos, I always notice things I missed.😃.   I always prefer whenever HBO airs it on the East and West coast channels.  This way, I'm always able to record the entire series lol.❤️

Lol, you're still doing better than me...I'm back in bed watching the Sopranos for the last couple hours.😃❤️

Heck, I haven't "made" my bed in decades!

I read years ago that it was better to turn the bed covers down during the day to air the bed rather than cover it up.  When I thought about it, that made sense.  So now I turn down the covers in the morning and straighten the sheets.  Nobody sees it anyway.

Re: The Bee Hive -- September 2024 Edition

When we moved here 30 years ago, we would have liked to have bought a home in Rio Rancho; however, we were discouraged because the city's water rates were significantly higher than Albuquerque's.

It has been a source of pride that we have kept our water bills pretty much the same all these years.

But now we have entered a whole nuther area.  Because of our new rate increase, our bill is almost $77.  That's a huge increase for us.

But I guess I shouldn't complain.  I told my sister our electric bill was $300 and she laughed.

Her last PG&E bill in California was well over $1000.
