But I did find an interesting tidbit that all the dogs playing the main role are related:

The German Shepherds in Hudson & Rex are related to the original Kommissar Rex, with the main dog, Diesel vom Burgimwald, being a descendant of the original show's canine star, and other dogs like Diesel's nephews (Dillon, Dante, Iko, Izzy) taking over roles or acting as doubles, maintaining a family lineage for the iconic role.

So sorry Rabbit Rabbit hasn't worked out for so many here!  It's just a silly thing I learned almost six decades ago and I've been saying it since.  <shrugs>

We stayed in last night, but waited till midnight to see if we could see the fireworks on the boardwalk.

Nope, could only see the tiny sparkles of the very tops of them.  We went to bed and both slept like we were out till 3 a.m.  Much needed--sleeping in....

Tomorrow morning they're coming to put up our shutters in the new room.  We've had bare windows for months.  

This afternoon was the Polar Bear plunge, we met up with friends (only the husband does it) to watch, record and help cover him up so he can get dressed.  Had to drop off husband so I could find a parking spot, the place was a zoo.  You would've thought it was Memorial Day weekend.

Was bored  so went looking through some of my Dish Network channels  and on UP tv  channel  was Hudson&Rex!!! 

First one i found was    when they found female police officer dead  and Rex was guarding her...it kept mentioning 3 years ago it happened!

The 2d eposoide i  watched has the date   01/12/2021  i love Rex  and of course Hudson...lol!

#3Dated 01/19/21..oh my gosh.".if "i watch   all  the other thats listed the last one ends at 2am!   wait a min. its now 7:05pm!!!

What should i do??/  ok..i can set my DVR  to tape them...duh!

  New Years Eve I  started watching at 7pm  until 12:30 am this morning after watching the Nashville countdown  with country singers  and  didn't sleep good at all   

I was up  at 8am  this morning   and have been wrapped in my new  heating blanket most of today...sigh   and wore out tired.
