Steph Curry.  Amazing.

But I feel bad for France.  They played so hard and well to have to settle for silver in their home country.  A few of the players were crying.😢

Re: The Bee Hive -- August 2024 Edition

Brisk, back in the hive! Yes, I am still alive.🥱
Been busy mowing and while I am sitting on my rear on a chair thought I would stop by.
Nothing to brag about for sure. Same old same old.
My pups are fighting or playing in the yard. Mare is winning😎 as usual.

I am guessing you get a lot of strange things being in a hospital. I can only imagine.🧐 My sister tells me always " you don't want to know " and I am glad she is not sharing.😉 She works two days a week still. Sometimes more if she is feeling it.
I am getting sleepy and no news is good.just taking it easy today and ate a omelette for dinner.
Take care and hang loose as possible! Tough lately but I'm hoping for the best but preparing for rough times ahead and thinking what is next? I am not feeling optimistic nor pessimistic. Cliffhanger like🙄
Stay safe everybody. Brisk out on a nice evening in Colorado...
Just winging it right now because the so much is happening.

Re: The Bee Hive -- August 2024 Edition

Nice monsoon rain yesterday afternoon.  Looks like temperatures are starting to go in the right direction.

We'll start getting those little hints of fall...

Re: The Bee Hive -- August 2024 Edition

@viva923  Did you get rain last night?  It wasn't forecast, but boy did we have a huge storm come across Delaware Bay around 2 a.m.  Rained so hard it woke me up.  Two trucks across the street had their windows opened all night.  One is a brand new Ford Bronco with temp tags.  And an open roof!  All that rain.  The guy came out with a towel and wiped down seats and console.  I don't know if his windows are going to work!  All that water on the electronics on the door arm rest?!?!  Will have to wait and see....he's visiting with his wife's family.

It's nice here.  I'm glad the sun went in because we need to ride to the Acme.  And Walgreen's.  They ripped me off big time.  Charged me for items they didn't have on an online order.  Over $30....yes, that's big time to me!Woman LOL
