Got a letter yesterday that our State Farm auto policy premiums are increasing by 25%.
Anyone else hear from their carrier?

Oh dear. I'm with State Farm. I have not gotten a letter saying this yet, and I did receive my current biill in the mail yesterday, but nothing else.
25% is a lot. When will all this inflation end?

I have Geico and they increased the price auto insurance fee 50% in 2023. All others in the state did samething. Couldn't find any with same coverage that didn't do this. It's expensive to drive.

They just renewed our auto with our home renewal in Dec. Ours went up around $18 between the two.
We have not received a letter regarding the 25% increase. If they raise ours that much we will be removing coverage plus raising deductibles. We are not interested in paying any more money on any type of Insurance.
Don't know about the rest of you but we are tired of being taxed & insured to death plus nickle & dime every place we go?
My MIL's homeowners when up $1000 a few months back. She doesn't have SFI though.

Not yet. NJ Manufacturers renews in July. Problem is there are too many unlicensed and uninsured drivers out there and responsible people have to go over and above on their policies to cover those uninsured/under insured.

I was paying $1800 every six months through Geico. I just switched to Progressive. I am now paying $997 everything is the same with them. I called State Farm and they wanted $2100.

I just paid State Farm $643.55 for my 6 month renewal in January. This is nearly 25% more than I paid last January ($521.32). Last July I paid $575.77 so I expect to pay at least 25% more when it renews in July.

Yes, my insurance has also gone up. There is no point in changing insurance companies because it seems like all of the insurance companies are increasing their premiums.
