So my last day at work was this past Thursday and I don't go back until 1/7...I have to get rid of a bunch of days or lose them.  Anyway, I have a close coworker/friend who has worked with me for the past 40 years.  We are the "fossils" at work, part of what we call the original crew.  We exchange Xmas gifts every year - nothing big just something small. This year, she got me a Harry Slatkin reed diffuser and candle set.  I don't ever remember having any candles from him but can I tell you the scent is AMAZING.  It's called Lavendar Vanilla and I could smell it through the box.  I rarely burn candles, typically using the wax melts but I will burn this one.  The reed diffuser I put up on my third floor as it's the workout room and I think it would be nice to have a scent up there (although husband may disagree)😏

I'm curious as to how strong the diffuser will be - I already set it up tonight

@bmorechick enjoy your time off!  I have been a Slatkin person for quite a while.  I like diffusers for lots of reasons; bathrooms, laundry room, closets, etc.  Just remember to flip them every week or so.  The first time I use them, I flip them the first day and then weekly.

Great scent you have and my other favorite or favorites are his Limoncello Cupcake and the collaboration with Elton John.

Enjoy!  And Merry Christmas.

The scent on those I had was relatively mild.

Nice gift!!!

I don't have any Slatkins but I do have a diffuser that I love in my bathroom, the Thymes brand in Frasier Fir smells amazing.

Enjoy your looong time off!Woman Happy

@Roscoe the Rascal  YES!  Enjoy the vacay!  Not many left is so true - most have retired . But not the last few of us.  We are in our 60's and 70's and actually, none of us are planning retirement soon.  Our senior Psychologist just retired last year at 82!!

@GingerHead Thymes Frasier Fir is the best of the best.  I keep a diffuser full all year long.  Such a pure and non sickening scent.  Merry Christmas!
