Among Friends

In my area of WV, every local fast food chains biscuit or sandwich is smaller than before Covid.   The last McDouble I had was the size of a kiddie burger, and a Whopper from BK is also much smaller than it used to be.

You great cooks here are making me hungry!  Esp those with the freezer!  That "cooked in flavor" of leftovers.  yumm.

BTW, y'know those sheets of coupons you receive in the mail, often?  MANY times, many places honor their outdated coupons.  Have to check, but often,  Popeye's, BK, Pizza Hut, Hardee's, & cant remember others, that often accept expired coupons for the meals.  And some places give discounts if you order via their specific APP.

Gosh, now Im hankering a big ole bowl/container (or 2) of Popeye's Red Beans & Rice.  

And some of the homemade, frozen, reheated Pea Soup mentioned in here.

We usually get a Filet o'Fish on Ash Wednesday, got them this year is were grossly disappointed. I don't mind making them but hate the smell lingering in the house.

@CalminHeart   I do too, esp prior to, & during 3 Holy Hours.  Msgs penetrate deeper w/in me, & click so much more (to me) with that fasting body.

Why doesn't McDonald's just make fish mcnuggets.  They don't have to worry about size and they can use the tartar sauce as dip.
