I wonder what date the following was published on the web?
AND, Chicken McNuggets arent whole pieces of chicken?? "chopped & formed into a shape?"
The frozen fish sticks in pkgs at the Supermarket seem to be mashed up fish also. yuck!
" The Alaska pollock in Filet-O-Fish is surprisingly fresh"
"Mike Haracz, a former McDonald’s corporate chef, explains on TikTok that pollock is caught, then quickly filleted and flash-frozen on board the fishing vessel. He adds that the Filet-O-Fish is “whole muscle,” not protein that’s been chopped and formed into a shape like McNuggets."

Is it my imagination or has McDonald's fish sandwich gotten smaller ?My downfall among others is fast food
I love to cook but figure what is the point cooking for 1
I'm horrible about eating leftovers days in a row
The price hasn't gotten smaller though.

I haven't gotten that in a long while but that seems to be how most things are. A smaller version for the same price or a higher price.
I see nothing wrong with you getting your fish sandwich or any other fast food item if you want to. It is hard to cook for one and then as you said, you get tired of eating leftovers.

I get a fish sandwich once every year during Lent. I'll have to go there this friday and check it out.

I like to cook enough for 2-3 meals. Then I don't have to cook the next 2 days.
When I worked, I'd fix a full meal, chicken, or small roast on Sunday and use it to do something quick the next few days. Anything left on Thursday into the freezer in single serve containers.
I still do this in the fall with chili, stew, and ham & bean soup. I can pull one out anytime I want for a quick meal.

Just had a fish sandwich from Burger King on our way back from vacation. It was the first fast food place off the interstate and finding a restroom was a bigger priority than the place we were eating lunch at. Haven't eaten at BK in a long long time. The fish was ok, the fries were pretty good.

And I made manicotti a couple weeks ago. I have 3 containers that are just partially cooked in my freezer. I already ate one and it was just as good as the day I made it.

We must be the only house where leftovers are not eaten days in a row.
What's left from say tonight will be eaten again on Tuesday or Wednesday.
