I did some decluttering, an hour of exercise, and an hour of outside work. I spent the afternoon with my Kindle and Netflix. Have to download a new book from the Kindle Unlimited program. I read, read, read for relaxation.

hey all

am a full LEO. Am stubborn as all get out . Am married to a LEO, oh boy can we butt heads yet we have been hitched for 50 yrs this year so somehow we have made it work.

busy busy day. Hit several stores today. Family dollar,walmart, lowes, lidl's. Found goodies at all the stores and stuff we needed for the house.

a huge Sam's club order arrived today. It was a mess to put away.

found 2 new laundry soaps. Used gain powder for last load, really pleased with that load, clean and smelled delightful. This one is Surf powder. Hope it cleans as well.

Being one of those who was an original poster on this thread will say this, no eating outside today. Fires still going,cannot explain how hot and how nasty the air is. Wish it was better - started Friday and yesterday was the absolutely worst day I have ever spent in Sou Cal.  We truly use to enjoy talking about eating outside and saying hello to friends.

Kzecks, Just want  you to know we hope you get back here for another visit. way too long a wait the first time. I think Betty (Yock) and I are perhaps the only two left from the 1990s era - those were the good old days. I wish more could get back here. I know Jody is fine - she lost her husband and is now in a home for seniors but is doing well. I miss her a lot here.Hey I can sit outside to visit and eat with friends - well so far that is. Actually chilly this a.m. - what a difference in temps from the past Friday on. Unfortunately fire is still going strong but the excessive heat is gone - for now that is.

I will probably finish up the collards I cooked about 3 days ago. Trying to save electricity when needed so cooked up a big pot of collards - love collards. Only enough for one more meal - if I handle it right. LOL. Then I need to think about fixing some things in advance again as one never knows., 

Well back to another cup of coffee. Have a good day everyone.

Since the rain stopped here, I can add some food to the table.

Now, for those who don't want a chili dog, you can dress your own dog.  They are Oscar Mayer angus beef franks - no preservatives so you don't have to worry about excess salt shooting up your BP.

I have mustard, ketchup, sargento mexican shredded cheese, white onion finely chopped and castlebury chili sauce.

I also have small bags of Better Made potato chips

another super busy day here

got stitches out still can't do full walk have to begin on friday and work my way up to a full mile.

warm and super humid , my walks I came in sweating drenched from the sweat. can cut air with knife.
