Wow. I haven't bought a box of See's candy probably in 10 years DH wanted some milk chocolate with coconut and I like the scotch mellows. So today I went to get a one pound box of each and it was almost $55.00 with tax. Guess I won't be buying for a long time again.

DH enjoys See's peanut brittle, so I got him a 1.5 lb box as part of his Christmas gift. It was over $30.00!

We have only one See's that I know of and it is several miles away. It's a kiosk in a big furniture store...the other See's stores have all closed since they were in malls. I love their little chocolate pillows with the chocolate sprinkles all over!

yes, a regular one pound box is currently $26.50 at sees. they are so good though!
our local chocolate stores are slightly under that at around $21 for a one pound box. the local european chocolatiers are charging a bit more than that.

I live in California, and our local Costco sells Sees gift cards. They are 2, $25 cards for like $40.00. 1 card won't buy a pound of candy anymore, but it might help make it easier for you.

See's is still American owned and is a business with a great history. It's around $28 a pound where I live. I love See's candy and consider the price worth it on special occasions.

Maybe it's changed from years ago however I've always found See's to be fresh.

Sees candy is so good. I love the scotch kisses and the caramel. Sometimes I just go in and get a couple pieces of the candy I like. If I bought a pund I would be in trouble lol.
