@AnikaBrodie So very well said.  You always have the right words and are great at expressing what is in other hearts here.

41+ Rustic Vintage Front Porch Decor Ideas On A Budget For Your House

Dear friends, I have a front porch, which is upstairs, but it isn't covered.  I love front porches like this one to wave at neighbors walking or driving by, have a beverage in the evening.  Just to be outside.  It's just different from a backyard porch or deck.  I have seen yards with no front porch, with a swing near the front door to create a little area of rest.

I want some tacos so called cat lady to see if she wanted to go to Taco Bell.  Whoops, I woke her up from a nap.  Change of plans,  I'm going to throw together some tuna salad.

@Sassy7356   A first for me, I prayed over your Brats for you to receive some aroma and taste.  Let me know how it goes.  I have looked for groomers on wheels to help me with my dogs but didn't have any luck.  I'm so glad that you and Gracie have one.

@viva923    I see that your yard person is back.  Very good!

Signing off for now to make that tuna salad.  Enjoy your afternoon, Love SC

Hi Everyone from very chilly MIssouri.   It got down to 36 degrees near here,  and was 38 here at home and guess who's furnace isn't kicking on.  It's about 59 to 60 degrees in the living room where the thermostat is.  I went down to the basement and pushed the reset button on the furnace and nothing, not even an attempt to start.   That worries me as it might not be getting electricity ???   I called the repair place and they'll come out but I'm not sure what to do as it's supposed to warm up a bit day by day here    $$ is part of the reason and then again having it serviced in the fall is another reason I am holding back.   I am afraid of electricity and fooling around with the circut breakers as none of them are marked.   My brother never tagged each breaker so I don't know what is what and am afaid to fool around with them not knowing what I am cutting power off to.

My best friend went home to Heaven Saturday afternoon.   She had a massive brain bleed, stroke or anuerysm on Thursday.   Her son called me to let me know.  They live about an hour and a half or two hours from me.  On Saturday they moved her back to her home with Hospice helping and she was there for about 2 hours before she passed.   Many of my friends are now gone,  so this was a shock even though Cherie was 3 months younger than me.

I hope y'all had a really nice Mother's Day weekend.   Ours was quite rainy off and on, damp and chilly.   Did go to a nursery on Saturday with my daughter and granddaughter.   I got some Cosmos, another Cone flower, and a Pincushion, aka, Scabiosa plant    Still want to replace the Elderberry and Butterfy bushes my brother got rid of.   Don't know why he did that, but I also want to get a Spirea plant too.   I got all of the yard cut on Thursday and finished it on Friday then cut the neighbor's back yard.  It was over a foot tall in some areas.  He tries to cut it with a push mower at bit at a time and has health issues.   My tractor took care of that tall grass in no time.

I have to go back and read posts.  Have a nice rest of your afternoon and be safe and warm.   Brrrrr.   🙂😻

@possummink

My heart and my deepest condolences

go out to you on the sudden and

unexpected loss of your best friend

Cherie.Please find solace in knowing that

she was at peace when her soul took flight.

Sending you warm comfort hugs.
