@handygal2   -  The incorrect use of pronouns drives me crazy too!  Example:  Her and Joan are going to the store with Jay and I.  NOOOOOO!!!  She and Joan are going to the store with Jay and me.  Incorrect pronoun usage is too common on a lot of television shows, and I wonder how these people became writers.

I keep running into " ... try and see ... ", which is midwest usage, and fine in the informality of speech. But when it shows up in writing it drives me nuts.

I'm going to try and see if I can write this sentence.
