I'm baaaaack!!!!  So sorry I didn't begin this thread for all of you last week. 

A holiday weekend coming up and a chance to travel, enjoy the beach ot mountains or a trip to spend time with family and/or friends.

I lucked out! It's a rainy weekend predicted here with storms tomorrow. My DS and family canceled their beach trip and will be here to continue lending a helping hand with DH and spending time here. I made  2 huge lasagnes last night with delicious sides and desserts since a cookout in a rain/wind storm is not possible. Fell into bed about 1AM!

Wishing everyone a safe MEMORIAL DAY weekend. Drive carefully and hope you can navigate well the traffic and airport crowds.

OMG @Shanus! I just read your thread about your DH's surgery. Thank goodness he is home and has you and your DS on the way to help out. Sending the best of wishes for his easy & complete recovery. And also for your dental misery.

It just never ends & for me when I turned 70 *** wow! I join you with that hospital parking & navigating around. We used to have courtesy cars driving through the lots & garage to take you to your building but no more since COVID!  Now it's just walking a country mile to get where you are going.

A close family member has been  in the hospital for almost 2 weeks.  He's getting better, slowly, but it's been a roller coaster journey.   

@Shanus  I completely understand about the ups and downs of  just parking, getting into the facility, getting out of the facility, finding your way around.........ugh!  Every day, I come home with a splitting headache from all the thinking my wee brain must do. lol lol  

Today is National Grape Popsicle Day.  Enjoy something cold and soothing today!
