DH's 80 (!!!!) birthday is tomorrow. We have family and friends coming in and dinner and a party at his favorite restaurant tomorrow night. He knows about the dinner, but the surprise is some of his college buddies w/ wives are coming to surprise him. Gift? In his birthday card, I put an IOU for an Apple watch so he can choose the one he loves.
More rain today and then clear over the weekend, but the rain returns Monday through Wednesday. Our yard is soggy and some streets are flooded out. At this point, although the farmers needed the rain, this much is probably hurtful.

Family will be here for a long weekend. The humidity isn't quite as bad as it has been but is foretasted to return next week. Hot is OK with me but this humidity is really a killer this summer.

Beautiful in the northeast today! Lovely breeze coming in the slider doors, sunshine and all that jazz. It is supposed to be like this the entire weekend with rain coming in Sunday night into Monday. Enjoy it while we can!
DH and I are going out to dinner tomorrow night for our anniversary. Other than that it's a quiet weekend. I'm house cleaning today, doing laundry and all that fun stuff. I'll most likely be working on it tomorrow too during the day and will try to finish up. Taking a bit of a break right now, then back to it......
@Shanus Happy Birthday wishes to your DH! I hope you all have a lovely time together. Does he know he shares his birthday with Mick Jagger? He is 81 today, still s*xy in my eyes

ETA: Oops! Just realized you stated his birthday was tomorrow not today, oh well his birthday is actually on my anniversary and not Mick's birthday, have fun anyway, LOL!
