Shabbat Shalom and welcome to anyone who enjoys this inclusive thread each week.

This month seems to be flying by. We did get to travel to visit family last week which was wonderful. If we plan trips,it has to be not in Feb. through May (tax time for DH) and leaves out most of spring which is the most beautiful time in the south...before the hot summer months. We do have have a house rented at the beach (Hilton Head, SC) in late May for a week for all the family would would like to come along.  

I'm still wishing for the violence to end and we can feel safe walking in the streets and going about our business. I worry for my granddaughters and children as they go about their day. No one can becertain what their day may bring...upsetting to all of us.

On a happier note, Girl Scout Cookie time. Purchased many boxes from our youngest granddaughter to help her reach her goal....Thin Mints always a favorite.

Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the time you have to relax and learn to be content with yourself...a true gift.

Hope everyone has a happy, healthy, peaceful, and safe weekend and week ahead. 

We have another Birthday Dinner this weekend...we have 14 Birthdays in our family between December 17th and March 26th. The remainder of the year is 2.

We do combine a few celebrations together but always make sure the grandkids get their own celebration.

@Shanus ...we all need to get away occasionally. It does the heart, mind, and soul good.

We too rent a  house for a family vacation every year. We rent in the OBX ..4th of July week.

Like Shanus, I worry about my loved ones because of all the violence that becomes more common each day.  If we do not act to contain it, we are part of the problem, in my opinion.

@Shanus  thank you for this week's inclusive, friendly thread.    Happy you were able to get away and recharge, until you can do it again in May!   If I lived closer, I would buy cookies from your granddaughter.  My husband loves Thin Mints, especially frozen ones. 

I hope everyone's weekend is peaceful and restful.    I hope the weather cooperates with your plans.  

My thoughts are with those who volunteer and try to make a difference. I volunteer for organizations that are dear to my heart and  are working to make the changes I want to happen.  I also know, it's a privilege to  be able to do it.  Thank you to all who volunteer.
