Shabbat Shalom and welcome to this weekly inclusive thread.
We gather here for friendship, solice, share experiences or just to catch up on other's plans for the weekend.
Prayers and wishes always for those less fortunate who are hungry and homeless. I also hope for peace in other countries, but especially our country where unnecessary crime has children fearful of schools and all of us wondering about the safety of crowds or just out for a trip to Target.
A very cold weekend here. It's 41 now in NC with a wind chill making it feel like 34.
Molly's itching for a long walk, but this is the high for the day. She went to "daycare" yesterday and ran around with her fur buddies, so hopefully she got her energy out. Me? I'm headed for the track at the gym for an aerobic walk.
Wishing everyone a restful weekend.
Shanus

WARM Greetings to all!
High hopes that all homeless are inside and safe, that all having to work outside, and anyone having to struggle with heating issues are safe.
It is very chIlly here in Connecticut, but a few little birdies have come out to eat at our outside feeders. The squirrels let nothing bother them, and are trying to eat the birdseed, as usual.
Bad time to be at the peak of Mount Washington, as it is 80+ degrees below zero.
Please stay warm and safe. If icy where you live, stay home. Best wishes to all!

Warm Shabbat and weekend wishes! We too are freezing here ... single digits & below zero wind chills all day. But warm up starts tomorrow. Temps in 30's & getting to 40!
Thank you everyone for the thoughtful words for us to reflect on. I join you in praying for peace & a better world for our future generations.
Stay warm and healthy.

Thanks once again to Shanus for initiating this pleasant and thoughtful thread. The lovely and encouraging words from everyone who posts here are appreciated as a weekly tonic of inspiration.
We in Northern Virginia are bracing for frigid temps, too, and until early afternoon, we had fierce wind blowing around garbage that was awaiting collection. Tomorrow will feel Siberian, we've been warned. Sunday is to bring relief.
Hoping everyone has a blessed sabbath, a pleasant weekend and that the world comes to its senses. A tall order, I know. But I keep hoping.

Good Shabbas friends,
This is such a lovely place, with caring thoughts.
Prayers for peace and comfort for all.
Please take care in this weather. The cold in most of the country is scary.
