Shabbat Shalom to all my Friday friends (and others). 

As I state each week, this thread is inclusive and whether or not you celebrate sabbath today or any day or not at all, you are certainly welcome here. We enjoy sharing weekend plans, weather conditions, family news, etc. 

G-D help those poor people in Ukrain!!! I don't know how they manage w/o water, power, food, etc. Our temple has "adopted" families that have relocated here and I've donated so much since my house is overflowing w/ extra items of kitchen ware, clothing, etc. 

Today is cool (78?!?!) , but raining. Tomorrow begins another hot spell of several days in the mid-90's. I may have to move to a cooler climate. Lol

I'm doing an afternoon wedding tomorrow, but thank goodness, it'll be inside. Catered BBQ lunch (right up my alley)...yes, I do eat pork, shellfish, etc. with cornbread and all the trimmings. I've never been not invited to stay to eat  and I can eat my weight if good old southern cooking. 

I'm wishing all a happy weekend with time to relax and enjoy a great Netflix movie or spend time with friends or family.

Another quiet weekend here.  Weather is supposed to be nice, low 80's and sunny.  (In the northeast) Today however is a different story.  Rain on and off all day and becoming heavy around 6:00pm until midnight with high winds and possible thunder/lightening.

I'm doing some cooking today and watching fashions back and forth between HSN and QVC.  I am loving the clearance pricing on HSN today though as usual trying NOT to purchase anything........I probably should not even have it on, LOL!

Hello all weekly friends! It has been a busy week with some family visiting but now I'll have all weekend to rest (& clean up)! Lots of fun, laughter & food - oy vey!

So nice to hear of your Temple aiding the Ukrainian families, @Shanus. May they be embraced continually with care and love.

I enjoy seeing the pictures and reading everyone's stories. Have a wonderful weekend & just think, Fall is on its way!

Uh, oh, I am late again.

I hope everyone has had a lovely peaceful Shabbat.

Our city is celebrating Fiesta,, parades, good food, great music and dancing. We are a bit gimpy this year so celebrating from afar. We are up on the hill above the city and mission so can enjoy all the music.

Stay cool and be careful in the heat.. We truly don't cool off until end of October-- Air conditioning would be nice-----

Hi everyone, 

Busy weekend here in central NY.  I didn't want the day to end before running through this inclusive, friendly thread. Thank you, @Shanus .

The weather here was perfect, sunny, LOW humidity and not hot.   I was able to get outside and comfortably weed, water, transplant  and get things cleaned up and set up on the deck. I hope the weather is good, so we can use inside and outside all weekend. 

We are having a houseful next weekend.  I'm so looking forward to entertaining and making memories here. 


@Shanus I caught a bit of the news and thought the same thing about the RESILIENT Ukrainians.  There is a Ukrainian church in the general area we've donated to. They are doing so much to help people there and gathering information for the population here in the area.  

May I ask, what you're doing for the wedding? 

@hennypenny  I don't know how you do it without ac.
