...I am looking for something small to blend drinks with.  I have a ninja but hate pulling that out of the cupboards all the time.  Is a blend jet any good?

I am only blending a liquid along with fruit and on occasion I add ice.

thanks

I don't know anything about a Blend Jet, and I know that's about what you were asking, but...have you considered an immersion blender?  That's what I use.

I like my Blend Jet but I don't use it as much as I thought I would.  You have to keep it charged and when I take it down, it's often not charged.  But it does everything I need it to do when I do use it.

I use a Ninja personal/single serve blender to mix my collagen based drink each morning. I got it at QVC and I think it was under $50 at the time. It has 3 different glasses and lids to use for carrying it with you if you need to do so. I've had it for a few years.

I got my  granddaughter a blendjet, t works pretty well but like others say you need to keep it charged, which is good to use on the go.

NutriBullet works perfectly for my protein shakes and smoothies.

Do you need something electric?  I have a Vitamix and other blenders but for my morning protein shake, I just put almond milk, protein powder and some other vitamin powders.  I use one of those shaker bottles (I think the actual name has the word Blender in it).  It's plastic and it has a round stainless steel ball (removable) to help blend everything.  I love that thing.  For the times when I want a smoothie or something with blended ice, I use the Vitamix.

@santorini   No, it does not need to be electric.  What you use sounds like what I need...I will look online for something similar, I do not want to worry about keeping something charged.

thank you

Just bought a Ninja fit compact blender 2 weeks ago, from Amazon. It was around 50 dollars. Has 2 jars , 2 lids. not a lot of junk with it. Sits on my counter pluged in,takes very little room. I love it. Looked a long time for it. Also bought a box of their Boyz  banana strawberry blensd, I ad a little orange juice what ever fruit I have and 3 ice cubes. I'm so happy with it. # isQB3001SS

I see the Blendjet advertised a lot online and on TV but doesn't seem too powerful. Nothing beats my original Magic Bullet...the one that started it all! I use it to blend frozen fruit with my protein shakes, and  lots of other things. I keep it out on my kitchen counter since it is so small and takes up no space at all. They still sell these and I highly recommend. I have an immersion blend and big blender, etc but too much time and trouble for just my shakes....The Bullet comes with tons of accessories and I find all of them useful.
