Welcome to our inclusive Friday thread. This is a place where we share our thoughts and wishes at the end of each week and take a moment to breathe deeply.

We're living in the midst of all the chaos around the world and in our own country...weather, crime and politics. I still have hope.

I too find myself up-ended while sorting, packing and organizing for a yard/garage sale. This is a huge task. There are 56 yrs. of memories...each thing looked at, discussed and the decision made to keep or sell. Some items bring laughs while those of relatives and friends who have passed, but left behind in photos, gifts can bring tears. Three apartment complexes are in the running and we may have to rent for a few months before our house is sold to be sure we get the first or second floor apartment....better for Molly. YAY, she's finally walking on stairs (see PET LOVERS) after taking her on campus and practicing on the steps of all the huge buildings. It certainly helped getting petted and encouraged by all the students yesterday as they returned to shcool and begin to move into the dorms. 

Our once quiet town is now busy and traffic always gets worse. Restaurants and movie theatres are more crowded, too. Parking downtown is impossible. You'd think after living here for 52 years, we'd be used to all this.

I do enjoy Fall but I am a Spring and Summer person...that being said this has been a really humid Summer here and I am over the humidity.

I hate to see the end of our long family weekends.

The kids enjoy the Bay and the pool. The cooking and constant washing of towels is not my favorite part but I will miss it in just  2 weeks.

Have a safe and happy weekend and week ahead.

@Shanus , Good Luck with your yard sale and move...I have to be honest..I hate moving . We have done it twice and I am not a fan!

We have been back home since Monday living in a construction zone but its getting there Thanks for caring
