@libbyannE I agree with you - I think this is what many abused wives do - they constantly give in because the consequences are so awful if they don't. The resentment builds up and BANG - they crack and something horrible happens.

Happy. It's the main reason I don't bother responding to a lot of stuff online. Just not worth it. Luckily I don't have that issue with my husband.

After 45 years of marriage I would say, he's everything I'm not and I'm everything he's not. I would say happy.
