@Misplaced Parisian   DD has Celiac and must be extra cautious. I can't believe anyone would make fun of special dietary needs.

@Shanus  Sadly they do.  I can greatly empathize with your DD.  When I was first diagnosed, I lost many acquaintances.  I'm labeled a "food hater" because I'm difficult to dine with.  Honestly, I do not hate food and wish I could eat anything I'd like.  But that's not the case.  This has been a great life lesson for me in countless ways.  It's also made me a better cook.  Smiles.  Take care and be safe, mon amie.

@Misplaced Parisian   Forget people who are ignorant...they're toxic, most of the time. We've worked around my daughter's eating habits for many years and enjoyed restaurants, family gatherings at each other's houses, etc. She knows what she can't eat and usually calls ahead to make arrangements or brings a little "lunch box". It's all good. Your health is more important than their not understanding the condition. Stay well. 💖

yes, we have and will continue to support our local businesses and members of our community that need us now more than ever. we have done pick up in the restaurant, delivery, and curbside/drive thru service.

I am not sure about getting any food out from anywhere. I have been cooking food at home.
