RESTAURANTS OPEN UNDER STRICT CONDITIONS

....delivery or curb side pickup. Would you trust the sanitation process and freshness of food since grocery stores aren't even getting deliveries of all fresh food items?

Yes. I used curbside on Monday and will use it again this weekend.

No, I am staying away from all restaurants. Not trusting anybody

to make me food now.

Will miss getting pizza once or twice a month. Yesterday I bought

some frozen pizza and will enjoy that.

If they are restaurants that I've patronized regularly, absolutely yes.

Agree with Frosty.  Just picked up a pizza last night at our favorite place.  A small mom and pop restaurant.  I feel really bad for these places and want to support them so that they survive this crisis.  Plan to do take out from other places we frequent.

Yes, of course.  There are restaurants we have done business with for many years here.

I go back and forth on this. The truth is I do not know, I worry that someone could be asymptomatic and unknowingly pass it along. I think they said on the news that the virus can live for 3 days on cardboard. Not sure about styrofoam containers.

All that said, to be truthfully honest, I cannot imagine not eating out for a month or longer, even if it is take out or curbside pick up.

I've taken a lot of my life for granted. That fact is becomming more and more apparent as the days go by.

Re: RESTAURANTS OPEN UNDER STRICT CONDITIONS

Yes I trust them.  Ask yourself if you asked that same question a few weeks ago.  We should always think that way.

I have always been very cautious about the restaurants I go to.  We don't go out often to begin with.  There are many in my area which I don't feel are clean and refuse to go to.  I've literally walked in and then walked out because tables still looked dirty even though they were supposed to be clean.  My husband often teases me because I write off so many places around me but oh well.  I got food poisoning once from a restuarant and learned my lesson if it doesn't appear clean assume it isn't and walk out.

Restaurants around me which are offering curbside take out are doing so on a reduced menu.  Unfortunately if we completely stop giving them business many will never reopen.  Now I'm sure they are even more diligent about cleanliness and sanitation then they were before.

@mimomof4   I can't make that comparison. There was not a fatal, contagious virus weeks ago.
