Haha! My county in PA just went into our final phase which is the green phase. That means that salons, malls, restaurants, casinos, gyms will open next Friday. That doesn't mean we are going back to where we were. Very limited restrictions. Every place of business will determine how they will open. One family type restaurant will have you go in and put your name in. Then sit in your car and they will come and get you when there is a table. I am glad that we are opening safely. None of us whats to go back to square 1. Thank you for the cute picture.

LOL. love the picture and I do miss my freedom.

Here in NYC we will be going to phase 1 in early June hopefully.

Just had a meeting with my boss this week she's the CFO on the careful process and planning that has to go into bringing employees back with rescheduled work hours, seating/desk placement in offices, etc.  Of course we like most companies I am sure will keep the work from home option as well.

Still in Phase 1 here in the Lower Hudson Valley aka Westchester, we are about 2 blocks away from New Rochelle the original hot spot in NY.

Phase 2 includes hair and nail salons, hair will be a priority I can wait a few weeks for nails, I want to see how the salon I usually got to is set up.

I'm your neighbor in South Putnam. But I grew up in New Rochelle/Eastchester where my many relatives still live. I'm also anxious for my hair salon to open!!😊

🤣😂😂😂. We are still in phase 1, but will have a very structured transition into stage 2 beginning next week for some counties. My county is not one of them yet, but I am keeping my EYES and FINGERS crossed that we will soon🤪.🤞

@Shanus  My county in southeastern PA is still in phase one (red)!  We go to phase 2 June 5th (yellow) and who knows when we'll ever go to phase three (green)?

L.A. County just gave the green light to hair salons and barbershops (not nail salons yet). So this morning I received a text from my salon with the procedures they are taking.

I will wait at least a month if not more before going in. I'm not a very good canary. :-)

@Leelee1123

I live in Eastchester across the street from the lake (which has not re opened and we have hopes that will happen soon) and right around the corner from Lord and Taylor that is now closing and a fairly "new" Barnes and Noble that has an amazing restaurant with outdoor dining that we are anxious to re open

Phase 3 here in Illinois has started.

 Hair salons are opening as so are restaurants as long as you eat outside on their patio and wear a mask when not eating.   Right now, sitting at a restaurant and lowering a mask to eat and drink does not sound too appealing to me.  I'm going to try to wait out the restaurants until we can eat back inside again with no masks.

As for the hair salon, I'll be there as soon as my beautician calls me with a date for an appointment!!!   I told her, I'm really flexible, I'll take off a PTO day from work to get myself an appointment with her if need be.
