This is so true. 

 

Like most things in life, the more you do them, the easier it gets. 

 

The goal for you now, should you wish to continue on this journey, is to practice this as often as you can, anywhere you can. 

 

And don't get hurt or feel bad or shut down, should it sometimes 'fail'. None of us, no matter how outgoing, manage to be social and get it right in every single circumstance.

Good for you!!!  The first time is always the hardest and you got through with flying colors.  Socializing is a learned skill, the more you do it, the easier it gets.
