I remembered things you all told me in your messages when I posted about not being good at small talk. And that I had to go to a get together on Easter. Well it went so well and I enjoyed it and had a nice time! I was relaxed and I even asked a few questions lol.

Great! I am fairly shy but try to be chatty when in a group.

My DH is awful at small talk, he barely talks to me unless necessary....small talk is not his thing and sometimes it drives me crazy but we have been married 39 years, he's not going to change now.

Sometimes in life something we dread the most will turn out to be something really nice and enjoyable. It is usually just putting ourselves out there to participate with an open mind and we discover that we can do things that we think we can't or won't be really good at. So glad you enjoyed yourself!!
