Does anyone know how sensitive Life360 is to movement?  For example, if you walked from one location to another, would it be able to show that?  Also, if you were to be within a large parking lot like a shopping center and changed parking spots from one side to another would it show location change?

This is what they say on their website:

"How accurate is location tracking?

The accuracy of location sharing apps can vary, depending on how they’re tracking your location. If they’re using GPS, your location is usually accurate within 3 meters. Factors such as bad weather, trees, and nearby mountains can affect this accuracy. Turning on your WiFi can improve your phone’s ability to track you using GPS."

Even with the app on your phone, you need to be able to use it.  I learned the hard way that it often a other person who has to call for help.  Keep detailed ID on your wrist too.

We have it on our family's phones. You are able to adjust the radius around the location. There is some slight movement even if they are still but larger movements are shown. I can see when someone is driving though the parking lot, for instance.

To adjust the radius?  Click on your named place and you will see the radius come up, there is a bar you can adjust.
